We have all heard it; carbohydrates – carbs – are bad for you. It is, apparently, the carbs that makes you fat and more and more people tend to stay away from them, treating them as enemies.

Well, the thing is that carbs are actually not bad for you. Not the right ones, and of a moderate amount. Everything should always happen in moderation; you should not eat too many, but neither should you remove them from you diet. I cannot tell you how many carbs to eat, nor how many calories to eat. Every person is different; hence every diet needs to be different. It needs to be tailored after your own body, your own lifestyle and goals and genetics. By following a trend in society and listening what works for some, does not mean that it will work for you.
