You’ve heard about Toms Shoes, which donates a pair to a child in need for every pair purchased. Perhaps you know about Little Man Ice Cream in Denver, which gives a scoop of rice to hungry people in Africa for every scoop of ice cream it sells.

A friend of mine, Luke Mysse, pointed me to another one-for-one project, and I had to share it. Here’s the deal:

The problem: Globally, a child dies every six seconds from acute malnutrition, the culmination of a cycle of hunger and desperation.
